You should be at the bus stop 5-10 minutes before your bus is due to arrive.
Look for the sign displayed at the front of the bus showing its route letter, either in the front windscreen or on the digital display. If it matches the route you’ve been allocated, it’s your bus!
Buses stop on request only. When the bus is approaching, be sure to hold your hand out to signal to the driver you want them to stop. This is particularly important when you are not at a main bus stop or if it is a busy bus stop where several other buses pick up there.
Yes, you must show your bus pass to the driver every day, so please have it ready before boarding the bus.
If you do not have your pass you will be refused travel and will not be able to get on the bus.
Visit or call Student Services immediately on 01792 890774 and inform them; you will need to pay a fee for a replacement bus pass. You will need to obtain a temporary cover letter from them if you need to travel in the meantime and show this to the driver when boarding in place of the bus pass.
Visit or call Student Services on 01792 890774 or call the bus operator directly (details are at the bottom of the timetable) and inform them what you have lost and what route you travel on. Informing them approximately where on the bus you were sitting is helpful (e.g. which side, near the front/back/middle). Giving as much information as possible will increase the likelihood of the item being found.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are at at the bus stop in plenty of time before the bus is due to arrive. You need to be waiting for the bus, as the bus will not wait for you. If you miss the bus because you arrive late, you will need to find your own way into college.
If you were at the right place at the right time and have not been picked up, firstly, stay at the bus stop! Give Student Services a call on 01792 890774 or call the bus operator directly (details are at the bottom of the timetable) and inform them of the problem, including where you are waiting and what bus route you are waiting for. We will then arrange to get you picked up.
South Wales Transport buses will accept your college bus pass for travel on college days on regular public bus services. First Cymru and Adventure Travel buses will not accept your college bus pass, however.
All dedicated college buses arrive at Gorseinon Campus’ coach park by 9:25 AM. They depart the college in the afternoons to return home at 4:30 PM.
Thank you for getting in touch. We will respond as soon as possible.
